Unsure how to choose the right therapist?

Stop guessing if a therapist is the right fit, talk to them first

Loading...

Understand how they work, before your first session

Know if their approach fits what you need

Avoid wasting time (and money) on the wrong fit

Research proves it: the relationship is what makes therapy effective

Studies show the relationship between you and your therapist has a bigger impact on outcomes than the type of therapy itself. That's why intro calls are:

Free (because finding the right fit is important)

A connection check before your first session

Peace of mind before you invest

Not every therapist will feel like the right fit, and that's completely normal. But when you do feel that connection, you'll know.

What therapy approach do you use?

Different therapists use different approaches, like CBT, humanistic, integrative. If you're curious about a particular approach, this is your chance to learn how it works in practice and whether it aligns with what you're looking for.

How do you usually lead sessions?

Every therapist has their own style. Some take a more direct approach and challenge clients, while others create space for you to lead the conversation. Asking about this can help you find a therapist who feels right for you.

Have you worked with people struggling with [your situation]?

It’s important to find a therapist who understands your concerns. You can ask if they’ve worked with people facing similar challenges and how they might support you.
